The great Protech "soft shell" economical case is now available to fit the McFarlane Sports Picks figures. There are two sizes available, and make sure you check the dimensions necessary, since some figures may vary from the standard. The picture to the right is a preliminary prototype, the actual case may vary just slightly. This case will also fit some of the newer Spawn figures.

Dimensions: 9.25" wide, 9.75" high, and 3.5" deep (TOYZ-1), or 9.25" wide, 9.75" high, and 4.75" deep (TOYZ-2).

New for 2008 figures (prior to the August NFL series): The TOYZ-3 case. Dimensions: 7.75" wide, 8.5" high, 4.5" deep
Pricing alert, while they last, I've been told that the Play Case 3 (at the bottom of this page), will also work well for the 2008 figures, if you want to save money, check them out (the Play Case 3 is taller than you need, but other than that, it fits, and it protects the figures perfectly).

Please measure the cards of your figures to be sure they'll fit into whichever case you order. The manufacturer has a tendency to change packaging frequently, and we don't have cases for every different variation, just the ones listed here.

Sizing chart: TOYZ-1 will fit most figures EXCEPT the hockie goalies and some of the other figures with deeper bubbles (if in doubt, measure the blister portion of your figure, the TOYZ-1 case will hold figures up to 3.5" deep, the TOYZ-2 case is needed for figures with deeper bubbles.

NOTE: We've been told that these display cases will not fit the hobby version of the NASCAR figures (but evidently do fit the retail version). As always if in doubt measure the card that your figure sits on, and compare that measurement with what is listed here. The dimension listed is the size card and blister depth that will fit into the holder..

The Starting Lineup Case for Carded Figures

The Protech Starting Lineup Case was the only case that was ever officially licensed by Kenner/Hasbro, and it used to have the official SLU logo on it to indicate the manufacturer's acceptance of quality.

However, once Hasbro stopped making SLU's, Protech had to stop using the SLU logo. The mold had to be reworked, and the case is now back in stock in limited quantities, the same exact holder as before, only without the logo. Great to display your lineup collection!
