We call these (and believe it ourselves!) "the best screw down card holder on the planet"! Smaller to fit into a conventional shoe box. 1 screw to make it easier to put your card away. Longer hinge at the bottom (relative to other 1-screw holder designs) to prevent breakage of the bottom hinge. Raised corner angles on top and bottom of the holder to make them not only stackable, but also it keeps the surface of the holder from rubbing against the table or an adjoining holder, which helps prevent scratching of the surface. Best features, and economical also. Acid free, crystal clear, individually packaged, a full 1/4" solid polystyrene.

ProTech Mini Slab Card Holders

A revolutionary new card holder is now available, at an extremely economical price.

Do you sell cards online? If so, have you ever been ripped off by someone who receives your card, switches it to one of a lesser condition, then returns a different card to you asking for a refund? With the Protech Mini Slab holder, you no longer have to worry about that happening to you.

How to use the mini slab:

The holder comes in individual packages, ready for retail sale if you're a dealer. It contains 3 parts, plus the label. Inside the retail ready package, the 3 parts look like they're pre-assembled, but they aren't, they can and should be separated before using the holder.

Please consult the pictures to the right after taking the 3 pieces apart.

In the second picture, the larger piece is the holder. Just slide your card into place from the top loading slot (after taking out the Protech retail label, of course, from that slot). It won't hurt to do otherwise, but the holder is meant to have the wording "Patent Pending" on the back of the holder, not on the front.

In the middle of the top picture, you'll notice the 2nd piece, we'll call it the center hub. Slide the center hub over the top of the card holder (see picture 3), the circles on the hub should be at the back of the holder

Picture 4 shows the completed product. You can now apply the adhesive label to your holder and you're all set.

If you look closely at picture 5, you'll notice how the hooks have locked everything in place.

Picture 6 shows the way the corners are protected, they touch nothing but air in the Protech Mini Slab card holder.

If you later decide to break open the holder to remove the card, you can just insert a small pointed hard object (such as a #1 Phillips head screwdriver) into the holes at the top, press down, and the holder will crack. This is a fraud prevention device, nobody can receive your slabbed card, open it, switch cards, and return it to you. If the holder is broken, you have no reason to issue a refund, obviously.

Pro-Mold Ball Square III with UV inhibitor - new item!

Protect your valuable autographed baseballs from the worst destroyer of all, UV light. UV comes not only from bright sunlight but from normal daylight and artificial lighting (incandescent or flourescent).
